This is a smaller gouache appropriation of my original very large painting “After the Storm I” normally hanging at our house at Scotts Head. It’s based on photographs that I took after a period of heavy seas and storms that exposed rocks along the beach that were normally covered in a meter or more of sand. The response to the painting lead me to produce this and a another oil on canvas work that were sold at exhibition.
